Water Powered Car – Build a Hydrogen Generator and Run Your Car With Water

June 5th, 2008 |

Water Powered Car, a pipe dream? a hoax? Actually its neither but reality in a sense. What persons are running as water powered cars are actually gasoline cars supplemented with the gases derived from the electrolysis of water. This combination results in a powerful release of energy in the engine’s combustion chamber.

This little movement has grown rapidly on the internet due to the astronomical increase in fossil fuels and there are now thousands of people who use these water powered car systems to reduce their fuel costs.

So whats the process to powering a car using water?

1. The electrolysis occurs inside a heat resistant container containing stainless steel plates which act as anode(+) and cathode(-).

2. The electrolysis process is powered off the alternator/battery.

3. The resulting gases are piped through a bubbler fitted with a pop off cover (isolates gases from the electrolysis if any problems occur).

4. These gases are piped into the air intake where they mix with the air and then enter the combustion chamber.

5. The gaseous mixture combines with the gasoline particles to form a powerful energy release on burning in the combustion chamber.

The above is a simplified version as there a few electronic parts needed for the newer cars which feature electronic fuel injection .

Not to worry there are several guides on how to implement this system. If you are not mechanically inclined then a mechanic can assist you

* The main benefit is obvious and involves the saving on fuel every time you make that trip to the service station to fill up.

* The car runs more smoothly.

* You are entitled to a tax refund of up to $2000 for a car. Heavier vehicles like SUVs, vans and trucks will also attract a tax break using a scale based on their gross weight.
